Dear Chef Bobo

We hugely enjoyed our evening at The Edge: excellent cuisine, fine wines, in the best of company.† With a good marketing plan to get the word out, you can only succeed and we shall certainly direct all our friends to your door.
We also much enjoyed your cookery demonstration for the ARC and would be so pleased if you could email the two boats with those scrumptious recipes. As we may have hinted, we would also quite like to get our hands on the whole book and if you email your targeted publishers, we will certainly send off emails in support.

Alter Ego and Lazy Dawn will be heading south on Sunday, hopefully ending up
at Bequia for Christmas and we shall do our best to visit your countrymen at
the Friendly Bay Hotel, courtesy of Gideon's taxi!

We will no doubt be back in St Lucia in the not too distant future and look
forward to seeing you again.

With best regards,
Robert and Gill Tetley

Dear Bobo ,

Thanks for dinner at your restaurant on two occasions while on holiday in St Lucia. I managed to get Disaster Bay Chilli wine and Caymus Conundrum at Harvey Nichols in London.

Jon, Jill, Hazel and I will raise a glass to you when we have a glass of the Conundrum.
We met another couple on the plane who said that they really enjoyed your restaurant as well. Good Luck.

Best Regards,
†Tim Grant

We had had a letter saying the restaurant would be closed as it was being taken over. However the new owner Bobo opened with what he described as a limited menue when we were there. The breakfast was good and the dinners were really excellent. Situated right on the bay with wonderful views I think his place, to be called The Edge will be the place to eat in St Lucia when he is fully open.

We just returned from St. Lucia and stayed at the Royal St. Lucian. (Rex resorts) and had a fantastic time. Anyone going there must consider dining at "The Edge",(It used to be the Mortar and Pestle). The food is described as Eurocaribe, and is some of the best (and most sophisticated) cuisine that we have experienced in the Caribbean. The Chef Bobo Bergstrom has won numerous awards in Sweden, New York and the Caribbean and it's obvious why. The food ranges from shellfish to fresh fish, beef and a lot of interesting Caribbean (and a hint of Indian) spices to go along with it. Don't let the Sushi sign throw you off - the restaurant is so much more than that! Chef Bobo even customized a menu for us (we stopped by for lunch one day) based upon what foods we really like, which turned out to be fantastic. The staff is cheerful and pleasant, and made us feel like we were dining in their home. Don't miss this restaurant if you can help it!
